Why journalism matters

Journalism, the most important thing in our world. Journalism is everywhere. From the news to the radio. Its all around us. Journalism is so important to our world, without it you wouldn't know what happening around you or even in the world.

Firstly journalism is important to teach because it helps our writing skills. Teaching journalism at a young age will help develop writing skills and will help children understand the current news. Journalism will also help with children's vocabulary as they would be exposed to new words that would expand their vocabulary.

Recently there has been a lot of fake news going around. Everyone nowadays is always social media. Social Media contains alot of fake news because many people do not check their facts and tend to believe the first thing they see. Since majority of the people are constantly on social media fake news spreads fasts and most people believe it.

However we now live in a world where many people do not trust the media. Since many people do not respect and trust the media future journalists have lots of work to do. They will need to regain the public's respect and do more research in order to have a positive view in the future. We need journalism to determine the difference from fake and 'real' news. Journalism matters because without it we wouldn't have any source of 'real' news, we wouldn't know what is happening in our local areas or what's happening around the world.

Journalism is about letting the world know what is happening around us. We aim to educate people on the recent news. Journalists make sure they are using correct information and not spreading fake news. Journalists use reliable sources so the public know what is true. This is why journalism matters. We need to educate people on the recent news and explain to them what is happening in there local areas. We need to educate them using 'real' information so they don't get confused from the medias fake news. Fake News can cause heaps of trouble that's why we need reliable sources such like journalists to help us determine what to believe.

Everywhere we look we see a type of journalism. Journalism is not only found on the news or local newspapers, you can also find it on your favourite magazines or your favorite podcasts. You cant escape journalism. Its everywhere.
