Two aged-care workers are isolating on the Gold Coast aftera tradesman visited the Mermaid Beach nursing home carrying the virus.
The tradesman - who also worked as an entertainer - attended a hens night in Byron Bay while being positive. The man was not exposed to any aged care residents on Monday.
Queensland premier is urging anyone with COVID-19 symptoms to get tested as soon as possible and stay isolated until positive result. In the last 24 hours (30.03.20210 Queensland have received 10 new cases.

Another Queensland cluster was sparked by an unvaccinated doctor who worked with coronavirus patients from overseas in the Brisbane hospital. Both new Queensland clusters is from the UK strain which is highly transmissible. The UK strain is also known as B1.1.7.
