The new Anzac Station is part of the Metro Tunnels station. The new station is 22 metres under St Kilda Road. The last wall and roof is now in place and soon to be open.
After three years of underground construction the Minister for Transport Infrastructure Jacinta Allan visited the site today. All this underground construction was still getting built while cyclists, trams, traffic and pedestrians continued to be using St Kilda Road.
The Anzac Station was part of the Metro Tunnel Railway Project. The Station will be built below St Kilda Road in South Yarra and planned to have four entrances. There will also be a tram super-stop that will be in the middle of the road connecting passengers to the underground station below.

There will be operations in place for cycle lanes. These lanes will be make for cyclist's to keep them safe.
